I find it funny that Alanis and Celine is in the list.

Surprised that Videotape got mentioned.

Gaaah...I literally just emptied my recycle bin. I can tell you, though, that the next ten were (I think) Old Man Luedecke, Stars, The Burning Hell, Karkwa, Katie Stelmanis, Ruby Coast, Slim Twig, $100, Forest City Lovers and Kardinall Offishall. After those, though, I'd be guessing even more. Sorry!

This, in itself, is a very cool list. Lots of great independent bands in there, many of which were on my initial huge list that I eventually narrowed down. It demonstrates the breadth of Canadian music, and how everyone who contributed has their own focus. The Canadian music scene is truly amazing right now.
