This is my first visit to your blog and I like how you describe each new artist/album with such extensive detail. I'm glad you can justify your opinions, which shows you know what you're talking about unlike some of those other blogger dudes out there. Keep up the good work.
I completely agree. We reviewed Jenn's record and I'm shocked it hasn't caught on.

I was actually the one who write the review with the reference to the Arcade Fire. It pertained to that one show, in which she had a six-piece band backing her, that was particularly energetic, even for Jenn Grant standards. That night, "Dreamer" was something quite explosiove and drawn out, something that wouldn't be out of place in the Montreal band's setlist. The record, although fantastic in it's own right, is definitely quieter than her live show. Good summation of JG!
